Here are your HW Assignments for the week of 2/25/2013.  Please note that effective immediately, 1) Late HW/Assignments will no longer be accepted, and 2) HW will not be given credit if it does not possess a valid parental signature.

2. TAKE NOTES on Slides 1-9 
3. READ Chapter 14 Section 1 in your textbook.  
4. Complete the Chapter 14 Section Reading Study Guide.   YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PRINTING A COPY OF THE FILE!  

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: 
1. Take notes on slides 10-22 of the presentation.  
2. Read Chapter 14 Section 2 of your textbook.  
3. Complete the Chapter 14 Section 2 Reading Study Guide .  YOU MUST COMPLETE THE CHART!  YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PRINTING A COPY OF THE FILE!

Complete the following discussion questions: 

1. Why do you think President Lincoln decided to support the construction of the 
Transcontinental Railroad, a very expensive project, even though the Civil War was
