Assignments Week of January 30, 2012

Hello, RUSH Students!

Here are your assignments for the week of January 30, 2012.   Unless otherwise noted, all homework assignments are due the following class day, and MUST BE SIGNED BY A PARENT.  Please note that effective January 30, 2012, all students must have their homework signed by a parent.   


TUESDAY NIGHT - Due Wednesday!  

1.  REVIEW CHAPTER 19 in your textbook (pp. 579-608). 
2.  Complete the World War I Study Guide.  CLICK HERE for the study guide.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT - Due Thursday! 
1. Watch the Video "America in the 20th Century - The Great War"  
2. Complete the video worksheet that follows


THURSDAY NIGHT: Due Friday! 
Print out, and complete the Chapter 19 Summary. Please answer all the questions on the back of the page, or on a separate piece of paper.


FRIDAY NIGHT: Due Monday!
1. READ THE HANDOUT "First Amendment in History"    Click the link for the handout

2. Answer the questions that follow.  


TEST CORRECTIONS:  
For the Constitution and/or Imperialism exam.  
DUE NEXT TUESDAY 2/7/12 

In order to complete test corrections, you must fill out a test revision sheet, along with your corrections.  You must STAPLE all of your corrections together.   


PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT YOUR TEST CORRECTIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE TEST REVISION SHEET STAPLED TO YOUR CORRECTIONS.

to support your answer.

Canal project?

HW Assignments Week of 1/8/12

Hello, RUSH Students:

Here are your assignments for the week of January 8, 2012.

MONDAY - Review the video that we watched in class today, by clicking HERE.   Carefully view the video, and complete the VIDEO QUESTIONNAIRE.  It's a good idea to watch the video and work on the questionnaire at the same time, stopping the video in, or around the sections that pertain to the questions.

TUESDAY:  Complete the following reading on Imperialism .   It would be a really good idead to print out the reading, highlight it, and take notes on what you've highlighted.   After completing the reading, complete the question sheet.   

WEDNESDAY:

1. READ ch. 18 Section 1 (pp. 548-551).

THURSDAY: 
1. Read Ch. 18 Section 2 (p.552-557)

FRIDAY: Due Tueday 1/17/2012

HW Assignments Week of 1/3/12

Hello, RUSH Students:

Here are your assignments for the week of 1/3/12.


SUPPLY CHECK FRIDAY!  


Five students will be chosen randomly in each class.  If each student has all of their supplies (pen, looseleaf binder, looseleaf paper, and folder), the entire class gets a 100 quiz grade.  If 4 out of 5 have them, the class gets an 80, etc.  

All make-up work/credit repair/extra credit assignments are due no later than MONDAY January 9th.

Tuesday Night - Review for the Constitution Exam, which you will resume TOMORROW.  If you lost your exam "cheat sheet," you can make a new one.
