I think if there was a new amendment it should be to let teachers have the right to carry a handgun if they do a test to make it legal for them to use it.I think this because if something happens like a student brings in a knife or a dangerous weapon they should have a weapon to protect but the only thing is that cant use the gun unless the student actually attacks or tries to hurt the teacher for no reason.

I think that another amendment that should be added to the Constitution is: No identiy theft.
Identity theft is when a person steals personal information to take that persons identity. It is also one of the fastest growing crimes. This crime is easily commited on the internet. The main reason people commit identity theft is to gain something for example: money, jewels, and property.
I think that identity theft should be an amendent in the
constitution because it is wrong to steal another persons identity that is not yours. I believe that a person who steals another persons identity commits the crime to hide their true identity so they dont get cought commiting the crime.

i think an amendment i like to see happen is for people of the same gender to get married and not be looked at differently from others. i think that this is a big issue and no one really wants to face it but people do it no matter what they are together with leggale papers or with out so why cant it be leg gale. in some stats this is okay to do for people of the same sex to get married and adopt children and have a family but in most its not i think that all 50 states should approve this amendment and let people do what they believe is right for them.

my amendment proposal would be to make a test to bare arms. this test would consist of making sure they are mature enough to have a gun.
this amendment should be added to the constitution becuase everyday people are dieing do to the illegal guns in position of immature people. and people have the right to safety . more people will be safe with less weapons out there. now if you are a hunter you will need to be under super vision and will also have to take the test so that there is no conflict

My amendment is from the 103rd congress in 1993-1994 regarding the prohibitation of Abortion. I believe that this proposed amendment should be part of the constitution.I dont favor in abortion,not because i dont believe woman have the right to do what they want with their child. I believe that innocient children should not have to pay the price of a mistake that the mother created. If this amendment were to be,this would secure the rights of children showing that noobdy should be killed of innocience. Which is also indicated in the fourth amendment, noone should be killed if not proven guilty. Ofcourse children have done nothing wrong so they are innocience.

The amendment I would like to see added would be a amendment which prohibited the death penalty. Athough it is already mentioned in the proposed amendment it has not yet taken affect.The death penalty is legal in only some states.However, I think this is a cruel and unusual punishment.If someone has taken many lives away they should be sentenced to life in prison.What lesson would you teach from killing a person it basically just causes more violence.If the prohibition of the death penalty were to be mentioned in an amendment justice would be served.

One Amendment that I would like to see added to the Constitution is an Amendment that will protect the enviornment more.My Amendment would talk about many of the concerns that I believe should be given attention to, in the enviornment. It would mainly be about having the population help out more, to help the environment , because they are living here in the world, and the environment is getting worse everyday.Some things that I would specify in the Amendment, would be the increasing of pollution, and the amount of animals that are becoming endangered, because their homes and ecosystems are being destroyed. I would also state, how much gas our cars use, and how people use them for short distances and are making air pollution worse. More diseases, like cancer are developing, because of the weaknesses in our enviornment. Also, what about the amount of plastic bags that we accumulate each day, and it is a waste. I would want to state many solutions to these problems, because they can, or are already being fixed. For the pollution problem, we could start using hybrid or even electric cars. This will really decrease air pollution a lot. Also if people stop smoking more, then the air pollution will go down, and other people won't be harmed. We should also contibute to saying energy, such as buying energy saying light bulbs, and maybe not using energy applied things as much. To help the endangered species, we can help make associations and teams to donate money, to help the animals in the areas, in which they are being harmed. We can also stop hunters from killing animals at sea, that are innocent, such as dolphins. Lastly, for the plastic bag issue, more people can start buying those reusable shopping bags. They are selling them at the supermarkets, and are encouraging you to buy them. They are really fantastic, my family uses them, and you dont waste any plastic. Many of these things are already being started, but all I want is to see more people doing these things. I think my Amendment should be in the Constitution, because the enviornment is the most important thing in the world, it makes up our world, and if it starts deteriorating, then we wont have a good place to live in. I dont want a world, were there is terrible air pollution, or dying animals, because, believe it or not, these things help us survive, and now is the time were we need the most help.

"To establish the right to a home "
I think that this amendment should become part of the constitution. If it was passed i think there would be a lot less homeless people on the streets because they would be given a place to live. "Establishing the right to a home" is giving a person somewhere to be safe. I think that maybe if u give a homeless person a place to live they might wanna go out and find a job so that they can better themselves.
My amendment to add to the constitution would be to end wars. I chose this idea because the war in iraq has been going on for a long time now and not only are the people who started this war are getting hurt but so many other innocent people in iraq have died because of it also. Families are torn apart by worries of a loss of a loved one or actually loosing someone so with out loosing anymore loved ones or even loosing money to by weapons and training people for wars we should end them

Proposed Amendment
Although the Constitution seems complete in my opinion, I also believe that an additional amendment should be added to the Constitution. I believe that same sex marriage should be banned and made illegal in America believe that this should become and amendment because same sex marriage is not only morally wrong, but it also doesn't accomplish anything. I mean, no children can be produced from a man a man. Yeah, it is freedom of speech and their choice, but it is just so wrong and disgusting that it should be permanently removed. This is why I believe that same sex marriage should be outlawed. Jason K 902
A amendment that they should put is that people should not have to pay for their operation if their badly sick and about to die. I say this should be a amendment because its really not fair if that person is really sick and has no money how will they pay for their operation and if he does not pay for it then they cant do the operation on him. If they dont do the operation That person will suffer and die. this is the reason why this amendment should happen.
A rule that i would like to see added is that all men and women over the age of 21 can join the army if they wish to, and that they need to be trained for more than 1 year or even longer. I have heard many times stories of people younger that i have gone and have trained for less than year and have lost their lives.

Many schools today are not providing the right education for students. Students are in need of better learning environments and materials. I think an ammendment to have the right to keep children after school and on the weekends should be passed. If a child is failing or simply does not want to do the work then a teachers should have the right to have the child come for help. There will be certain exceptions if the child has proven important obligations. The children of America are the future of our country and therefore we need to keep them educated.

An amendment I would like to see added to the U.S. constitution is an amendment that repeals the 2nd amendment of the right to bear arms. I don’t think we should have the second amendment. It creates so much violence. If the new amendment banning the 2nd amendment was added to the U.S. constitution then I think there would be a lot less murders, suicides, terrorist attacks, school shooting, etc.

An amendment that should be added to the Constitution is "That people have the right to marry within the same sex." I am proposing this amendment because everyone has the right to be with the person they love, no matter what gender they are. Whoever someone loves is who they love and no one can change that. If a couple decides that they love each other and want to spend the rest of their lives with one another why should somebody stop them just because they are the same sex. Not allowing gay marriage isnt fair to those who truely love each other, in the end we are all human with feeling so what should it matter. It also isnt fair that only in some states that gay marriage is permited and some it isnt allowed. Gay marriage should be legal in all states.

i think that one amendemt that should be added to the constitution, should be "To specify a right to "equal high quality" health care". this amendment was proposed in 2000-2002. i think this amendment should be proposed because it is very important, some people dont have enough money to pay for high quality health care , and some can. so it will only be fair is everyone gets the same health care quality.
The proposal to ensure reproductive rights of women was a great idea and should be part of the many amendments. To ensure reproductive rights of women was a great idea because then women can have that privilege of deciding for themselves of what they can and can not do to their body.

My amendment is all schools have school until 2:35 and get in at 8:00 every day. I made this my amendment because between 8 and 2:35 is enough time to get classes in and do enough work to learn. i also want this amendment beacause at my school I get out at 3:30 and by the time im home and changed it's 4:30 and thats late. All my friends get out earlier and its hard to meet up with them in hang out cause theres time in between the time i get out and the time they get out.

Amendment= To Prohibit Abortion
My amendment means to stop abortion. Abortion is a serious problem in America. Abortion means to take out a baby from a womans stomach at her early stages of pregnancy. When this is done the baby is killed and has no chance for survival. Abortion can be another word for mudering a child. Its a murder and when a person murders they go to jail. So when an abortion is done shouldnt the people go to jail. If a woman doesnt want the baby she could give it to an adoption agency not murder it.

I would like the amendment to ensure reproductive rights of women added to the constitution. I would like this amendment added to the constitution because, all woman should have the same rights as men do. We are nothing different except for our gender, so we should be treated equally. We work and do everything else just as men do. And whatever men do, we can do as well. People shouldn't be treated differently because of their gender. I chose this amendment to be added to the constitution because I believe that all woman should have the same rights as men. As I had said, woman and men or no different, only in small ways. We are both people, both humans and citizens, therefore should be treated the same, and make sure we are treated the same.
I believe that if their was a new amendment added to the constitution it should be one that is about how it should be illegal to give guns away to regular people and that gun should only be given out if the person is train. Also that person should go through a class we’re it tell you when, where and why that gun should be use and that only 25 and older should be allowed to carry guns.

I think there should be amendment that should allow people from the same sex to marry. It doesn't make sense. If people have freedom of choice, freedom of religion, etc. Why cant they have freedom of marriage.
