1. The effects of the Treaty of Versailles was that Germany had to take full blame for WWI, pay the Allies for war damages, and would have much of their land lost, and their military limited.

2. Stalin became the communist leader of Russia, Musoulini (I'm Italian, so I should be able to spell his name, but I can't right now) was the fachist prime minister of Italy, Germany had relied on Nationalism to get things in the country moving, and bothe Germany and Japan used their military powers to get what they wanted from their people.

3. The Leauge of Nations really didn't have any important countries in it, and none of the dictators listened to them.

4. For some time, the US was following a role of neutrality, but did lend or lease weapons to Allied powers.

5. The neutrality acts that the US put into effect made it so that no US citizens was to go on any ships that belonged to any country involved in the war, and if anything was to be bought, lend, or leased, the country that requested it would have to pick it up with their ship.

6. Roosevelt made a treaty with Churchill to help him out by giving him weapons and supplies when needed.

7. The events that lead up to Pearl Harbor was first when Roosevelt made a treaty with Churchill, second when Roosevelt declined Japan's request for oil, and third when Japan told the other Axis not to make treaties with the other countries.

8. The Spanish civil war helpped the Axis get supplies, and land from Spain.

9. The roles of the Allies and Axis were both very important because each country contributed to special parts of the war.
