I think that the song by the Twisted Sisters is the best song to fit for colonists during the French and Indian war. I believe this because in the long, the lyrics say "this is our life, this is our song" and something saying "you don't belong here, youd don't know us"
It does fit for the British because they were taking control of the colonists life and they were limiting their rights.

I think that We're not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister best describes a colonists living in America. Colonists didn't want to put up with the British taxes because they weren't representation. Also in the beginning of the song the lyrics go "don't pick our destiny 'cause you don't know us, you don't belong" Maybe if the King knew some of the colonists and knew their input on things, He wouldn't have taxed them to pay for his debt.
As the song progresses, the lyrics then say "We're right, We're Free, We'll Fight, You'll See" Reminds me of the First Continental Congress. They petitioned the king telling him to overturn the taxes, or they will fight and they were determined to win.

The song that will describe how I feel about the british government will be: im not going to take it. i think this because, I will want to try to stop the british government from ruling over the colonies unfairly, I will do something about it.

the second song would described me more because in the beginning the dad was like the british trying to control the kids ideas and opinions and also what he wanted to do. but then later in the song the band is like the americans who dint take it anymore and made a stand for themself and made there and choices and what they wanted not what others wanted for them.

The bristish took control over the colonies and the lifes of the colonist. If i were a colonist I wousl agree with song,"Twisted sisters" because it talked and showed the emotions of having the confidence to say no.
In the song it said that they were tired of being out of control and that they were going to fight back to get what they deserve. In the French and Indian War the colonist rebelled against most of Britians new law. For example the tea act was passed by the British so that they can get more moeny, but the colonist rebelled against it and began the boston tea party, which was when the colonist threw tea into the boston harbor. All colonist should have the same rights and Britian had no right to control the colonist.

If I were a colonist living in America following the french and indian war, the song that would best describe my feelings toward the French and Indian war, would be "were not gonna take it". this song would best describe my feelings as a colonist because in the song it talks about a person who says he/she is not gonna take any thing with being told what to do anymore. That is an example of what was happening to the colonist. They were being taxed by the british without any choice and they felt like they were being forced to do something by people who were almost 3,000 mile away. the song "were not gonna take it" shares similar thoughts with the colonies.

I think the best song would be "We're Not Gonna Take It" during the French and Indian war because it shows that the colonies didn't want to be pushed around and be taxed without representation. They wanted to decide on there own and be free. The colonies were also prepared to fight. This song descibes my feelings toward the British colonies.

If I was a colonist during the French and Indian war I would have feelings described in the song Were Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister. The British were controling the colonists by putting unfair taxes on them. The colonists rebelled, hence the lyric were not gonna take it anymore fits perfectly into their situation.

I think that the Song by the Twisted Sisters - We're Not Gonna Take It - best describes the colonists during the French and Indian war. It says that the singer/child whants freedom from his dad who is bossing him around. That is exactly how the colonists felt. They wanted to have freedom from their leader, Britain.

d.seizinger class902 I think the song "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister best describes my feelings towards the british government. The colonists did not really have alot of rights, and the british told them what to do.The song says "we've got the right to choose".They should have been able to make decisions. It also says in the song "we're right,we're free,we'll fight, you'll see".The colonists threw the tea into the harbor, which is now called the Boston Tea Party. They didn't want to be told what to do anymore.

i think the twisted sisters matches the colonist time because because the lyrics say they "just You Try And Make Uswe're Not Gonna Take It" it saying like the British parliament is passing out the laws but the Americans wont a bay the laws.
"we've Got The Right To Choose And
there Ain't No Way We'll Lose It
this Is Our Life".
in this part it is the same there they will have to choose if they want the laws and try ever thing to fight back.

I would pick the song by the Twisted Sisters its the best song to describe the colonists during the war cause the British were really taking advantage of them. I chose this because in the lyrics it says that we have the rights to choose what we want and you can't do anything about it cause we're not gonna take it. This then relates to Britain and the colonists.

i think that the song "were not gonna take it" by twisted sister is the better choice because it really express how i would feel if i were being taxed by the british just to help them pay off their debt after the french and indian war. i think that the lyrics that they use are most likely what the colonists were thinking and feeling towards the british empire

i think that the song by twisted sisters is more like America's realationship to England because it resembles the colonists' feelings and what they acted on against the mother country.

I think the song "We're Not gonna Take it" By the Twisted Sisters fits the time period very much. I chose this song because it tells me how we are strong enough to have our rights and that we wont let someone else come and take over and make us do what they want. I think the lyrics to this song are really strong and it explains a lot about what goes through when we have to fight for our rights.

i think the songs best fit the colonists during the french and Indian war because they declared "this is our life" and this stated they were unfair and irrogant with the taxes and rights.

I think that the song We're Not Gonna Take It best fits the colonists during the French and Indian War because the colonists were taking so much from Britain and this song is basically saying how they aren't going to take the way they are treated anymore. Another part from the song that best fits the colonists is "we Don't Want Nothin', Not A Thing From You" because the colonists didn't want anything from Britain, they just wanted to be free.

The song that would best describe my feelings towards British government if i were a colonist at this point in time would be the song by twisted sister. British government taxed items that were often used and needed. how can we be paying them money when we don't have anybody representing us in parliament? that is unfair to the colonists.

I agree with everybody else when I say 'Were Not Gonna Take It' by Twisted Sister describes the colonists just about right. The British were restricting the colonists from what they can or can't do. The placed taxes and rules on the colonists. They were not independent. In the song, the Twisted Sister or whatever it was said " We're right, we're free, we'll fight..." which is what the colonists attempted to do by establishing Acts to prevent taxes and other restrictions.

i think the song that best discribes the french and indian war is "Were not gonna take it!" because the french and indians wanted the land that the british owned. The song is mostly talking about how the the men meaning the british will not take it any more! I think that the song has a lot of characteraztion because I think that the man who was screaming at the kid in the beginning was athe wall trying to protect the land from the french and indian's. I also think that the men who were singing "Were not gonna take it!" were the british saying the they will put there foot down and somthing like they do not want the land to be taken. So the song is telling many details. I also like how the people were singing this is not were you belong meaning that the french and indian's do not belong here to take the land.

I think that the best song that fitted the colonist is "We're not gonna take it" by the twisted sisters because when it said "we're not gonna take it" it reminded me of when the colonist got mad and did something about it which shows that they aren't going to listen or obey the british government

If I were a colonist living in America following the French and Indian War, the song We’re Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister would best describe your feelings towards the British Government. This is because colonists could not stand the British and wanted to be an independent country. In this song it quoted “we’ve got the right to choose,” this represents how colonists wanted their voice heard to establish laws. The song also quoted “we’ll fight…” and “were not gonna take it…” which symbolizes how the colonists rebelled (example: Boston Tea Party.) for their independence. That is why I think the songs resembles this topic.

If I were a colonist living in America following the French & Indian War the song that will best describe my feelings toward the British government would be " We're Not Gonnna Take It" by the Twisted Sister. I think that song best suits the situation of colonists protesting against the unfair taxation because in the lyrics it said "we're Right/yeah we're Free/yeah we'll Fight/yeah
you'll See/yeah" and that is what the colonists did to get rid of the Stamp Act. They thought it was unfair to have "taxation without representation".

I think that If I were to be a colonist living in America during the french and Indian war, the song best describe my feeling toward the british government would be "We're Not Gonna Take It" - Twisted Sister. Because the lyric have a good reason that we are free and have the rights. The British did taxes us, and they thought they could do whatever they wanted. Which is unfair for us! The song also said "Oh We're Not Gonna Take It"
"no, We Ain't Gonna Take It", describes the anger that we felt when the British tries to control the colonist life.
so, as the american colonist, this song would best describe my feeling during that time.

I would definitely pick the song by the twisted sisters because it describes the colonists feelings towards the british bossing them around. This song also mentioned that this is our life and saying that you dont belng here. I believe this standed for the colonists telling the British that they arent supposed to be governing in the colonies. And for the part where they said it is our life, I think it best fit for the revolutionary war because ithat war clearly stated tha the US was not the child of England anymore and they neded to stop putting taxes on us. I beleive that tis also would fit in with the constitution as well

i think the songs, both songs bring a certain vibe meaning when twisted sisters said "this is our life" this is trying to tell the colonies and colonists we are going to do things our way beacause this is our life. Also this brings the irrogance of the british even more
