If I could propose an amendment I would say that if the president is doing an excellent job raising the economy and helping our country he could run for third term. This could only happen if 3/4 of each house in Congress agrees. This amendent should be added to the Constitution because the president can continue making the economy beter or help the country even more.

The amendment I propose is "To protect the environment." This amendment means that people should take care of wildlife, such as plants and animals in forests. This can be done by banning hunting on endangered species, doing something about forest fires, and pollution. This should be added to the Constitution because it will help the regrowth of endangered species. Since the amendment relates to pollution, it can help with more recycling, in which helps reduce global warming. Also this can include items that are eco-friendly. Therefore, people would save money form these items which helps improve the economy. The government can also participate in this amendment by establishing jobs that help protect plants and animals. Also they can stop the harsh chemicals that come from factories.

An Amendment i would like to see to see added is the right to gay marrage. I want this amendment added because i think everyone deservese the right to get married. Some will agrue that same sex marrages illiminates the fact that a marrage is sopposed to be the building blocks to having a family ( kids, dog ect. ) but some people can't have children and they are not dined the right of marrage. Why diney to people who are in love a chance to be married and share there life together, just because of there gender. That violates the amendments already made about discrimination, because it is gender discrimination to say two men cant marry because two men.
Assignment #1:
My proposed admendement is to prohibit the early release of convicted criminals.
It should be prohibited because if some one had given a 2nd degree murder and was sent to jail for 20 years, and by the 10th year they let him go he might go on and do it again. The person was sent to jail for 20 years for a reason. It was because that how much time he need to be in there to learn his lesson. If you let the person out earlier that same person might do it again thinking he would be let out early again.

ONE AMENDMENT THAT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ADDED TO THE CONSTITUTION WOULD BE TO HAVE WOAMEN PAID THE SAME WADGES AS MEN DO. WOAMEN GET PAID ONE LESS DOLLAR THEN MEN DO. I KNOW, ITS JUST A DOLLAR, HOWEVER, ITS NOT JUST ABOUT THE MONEY FACTOR, ITS ABOUT THE LEVEL OF FAIR TREATMENT THAT WOAMEN DESERVE OVER A JOB. THERE HAVE BEEN CASES WHERE WOAMEN HAVE BEEN IN HIGHER CASSES THAN A MAN, BT STILL RECIVE LESS PAY, BECAUSE OF THEM BEING FEMALE! I THINK THIS PROPOSAL SHOULD BE ADDED TO THE CONSTITUTION SIMPLY FOR THE FACT THAT WAOMEN ARE NOT BEING PAID EQUAL SHARE OF WHAT THEY DESERVE. IN A LOT OF CASES WOAMEN ARE EITER DOING THE SAME JOB, SERVING A HIGHER SERVICE OF THAT JOB, OR MORE QUALIFIED, BUT STILL GET PAYED LESS BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT THEY ARE WOAMEN......
THTS SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT......

I think the Constitution should add an ammendment about Free Education. American citizens should be allowed to have the right to a free education. From nursery school to college, it should all be free for
legal citizens of the U.S. In other countries like Italy there's free education to all legal citizens. And in Sweeden and Finland
theres 100% free education to all people, citizens or not. They could be a foriegn exchange student and still get free education.
If education was free than more and more people would go to school and get degrees and good grades becasue they wouldnt have to pay.
How are poor people and less fortunate people supposed to pay so much money for college? If education was free than students would
go to college and not drop out of schools and actually have a chance to make something of themselves with a proper education.
So I think an ammendment should be added to the Constitution stating that if you're a legal citizen of the U.S. you are
entitiled to a free education.
a. Why were these amendments passed?
They were passed to help people get rights.
b. How do these amendments expand the Constitutional rights of the people?
The amendments let people vote, freedom of speech and freedom, generally.
c. To what degree do these amendments restrict the rights of citizens?
One example of this is that people who commit crimes, their rights from the constitution is restricted, like the right to bear arms again.
d. Which amendments are the most important, the least? Why?
The 19th amendment is the least important, because the government should not of banned alcohol in the first place, because prohibition made people do crimes.
e. Do you think that the government should have passed an amendment banning the consumption of alcohol? Explain why or why not.
I dont think they should, because like I said before, it causes people to do crimes, and there was alot of secret alcohol smuggling.

d. All these amendments are important because it protects citizens and stops government from having too much power.

Assignment# 2

Prd. 3
a. Why were these amendments passed?
They were passed because the people were worried that the gov't would violate there rights if given the chance.
b. How do these amendments expand the Constitutional rights of the people?
They makes sure that no matter what happends with the goverment the people will still have these right.
c. To what degree do these amendments restrict the rights of citizens?
They still put limitations on behavior. Like the first amendment says freedom of speech and ect. but it does dont defend something said to cause a riot, or in a volient manner.
d. Which amendments are the most important, the least? Why?
I think there all important but the most important are the first 10 and the ones about rights of blacks and women. i think this because because the first 10 are fundemental rights, and the ones about equality rights are what insure me and many the rights we all enjoy.
e. Do you think that the government should have passed an amendment banning the consumption of alcohol? Explain why or why not.
I think that was the stupidest one ever. The only reason they passed it was because of all the presures they were reciving from angry house wives. All that law did was cause more criminal activity.
