Here are your HW assignments for the week of 10/3/16. Please note that your HW assignments will generally be given at the start of the week, on Sunday night, or Monday morning. 

Some of the assignments will be due by the next class period. Other assignments may take a little longer. You are responsible for printing any worksheets for the assignments.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:  DUE THURSDAY 10/6/16
1. Watch the following video on the Declaration of Independence 

2. Read Chapter 8 of We the People.  Here is a link to the chapter. 
3. Define the "Terms to Understand" on p. 69 of the chapter. 
4. Complete the "Lesson Review" Questions (1-7) on p. 75 of the chapter.

THURSDAY: Due TUESDAY 10/11/16 
1.  Complete any of the remaining DBQ's from today's lesson.  Here is a link to the DBQ's
2.  Using the Documents, as well as your knowledge of US History, compose an essay (minimum 350 words), that answers the following question: 

Were the American colonists justified in waging war and breaking away from  Britain?
