Criminal, crook and law breakers are terms we give too people who supposdley broke the law.The law system really works on one thing you are innocent until proven guilty. This is when alot of your rights come into play. You have the right to remain silent. That saves yo from incriminating yourself. The government also allows you to get an attorney to lie for you. As the famous philospher socrates (i think)once said a lawyers job is to turn the truth into a lie. Then you have the right too remain silent through the whole court case. This is when we see murderers (OJ) or famous people get away with crimes. Then there is the eight. I personally disagree with it, but it does protect everywhere and it does seem necessary due to all the corruption. So maybe criminals do get too many rights you cannot say anything becuase you never know when it will be you on the stand pleaing the fifth as your lawyer straightens everything out.

No, I dont think that the Bill Of Rights provides too many privileges and freedoms for people accused or convicted of crimes. I think that it is a fair deal for them and us. They do need a chance to prove or try and prove their innocence because if they didnt commit the crime they wuold be doing the time for someone else which is not very fair to them. Look at it this way...Lets say you were walking down a busy street that is also a well known shopping area. Someone has just stolen a few items from a store and coinsidently the person that has just commite this crime is wearing an outfit very similar to yours. The theif has run fast and far away from the crime scene and gets away with the items. The poliece are driving up and down the streets to find this guy/girl and they see you. The cops have just told you that you have the right to remain silent and anything you say or do can be used against you in the court of law. Right now going through ur mind are many thoughts of why they chose you and why you are about to do the time for somebody you dont even know. DO YOU THINK THAT IS FAIR?? NO..okay then thats the way I see it.

The Bill of Rights provides too many priviledges and freedoms for people accused or convicted of crimes because of the things that they do and jail is the things that people has a minumum of freedom in the jail. There are a lots of people that could live in the jail for 5-12 years and they should have a lot of freedom in jail. But I think that the Bill of Rights should provide priviledges and freedoms of people accused, or convicted of crimes. xD

I dont think they have too many rights and freedoms, because its not even 100% sure that all the convicted felons are supposed to be in jail. But speaking for the people who are supposed to be there, then they deserve what they get. But they dont even get that many rights. All they get to do is eat, and walk around their jail (area). Yeah; they might be able to go outside, but when they;re going outside they're usually outside in the heat&&the cold, and they're usually doing work. Criminals, people accused of crimes, do not have too many privleges. They have a fine amount of rights.

I think that when it comes to crime there is always a lot of controversey. So crime is one of those issues that needs to have a substantial margin of error. The justice system is based around the policy "Innocent until proven guilty", so in order for this to be supported we need to have enough parts of the constituion dedicated to this part. In my opinion everybody should have a second chance at life so they put and Amendment for excessive bail which I think is an excellent Amendment because it gives a chance to a person who robbed a candy store to get out of jail which a serial killer. We have sp many Amendments to make sure that 95% of the accused and convicted citizens in this country go through a fair justice system.
