1) The reasons why these amendments were passed might be so we would have a civilized community, like the right to ban alcohol is amendment 18. That could've been so people wouldnt be drunk and get hurt.

2)These amendments expand the rights of the american people because they give them almost all the freedom needed.

3) I think the three most important amendments are 1) freedom of speech, because it gives a chance for any American person to be heard. 2)Freedom of religion, because that allows us to practiceour own religion without being told otherwise. 3)The final amendment I think is important is the amendment that says you are allowed to live in your house without a warrent checking your belongings, because it allows us to live peacefully and without fear.

These amendments were passed to protect the people by giving them laws and regulations to follow. They expand the constitutional right of American people because it gives them the right that they deserve. One way it restricts people rights is not allowing anyone under 18 to vote. The three most impotant amendments to me are 13, 22 and 25

1. Amendments were passed because a lot of things were not mentioned in the constitution, the amendments were added to be more specific of the rights people have. Also the rights of the government.

2. These amendments expand the constitutional rights of the American people because it defined the peoples rights. Also the rights of the government.

3. Some ways these amendments restrict peoples rights is it tells them what they cant do.

4. Three amendments i think are most important are: 1. amendment 1, 2. amendment 10, and 3. amendment 4

1. The reasons that could explain why these amendments were passed are that there were many unreasonable acts and ineffective procedures being conducted such as FDR being elected too many times.

2. These amendments expand the Constitutional Rights of the American people because they help make things more fair and reasonable especially for poorer families.

3.Thse amendments restrict peoples rights in terms of doing wrong and unlawful things. If you are doing the right thing I don't see how the Constitution can restrict your rights. Maybe amendment 18 which is no longer in effect but that's about it.

4. I beleive that Amendments 1, 4 ,5 because they deal with law and a citizens rights in terms of trials an overall speech and freedom. Jason K 902

Some reasons that might explain why this amendments were passed are that it was for the people's safety. The amendments expand the Constitutional Rights of the American people by assuring them those rights. Some ways these amendments restrict people's rights are that people are offered a certain amount of rights??...
I believe the three most important amendments are amendment 1, 5,and 10.

1.)I think some reasons why these amendments were passed were because some people might have not agreed with some of these amendments. Another reason could be because some people would appose them. After it was ratified the people realized that they had to add to the law.

2.)These amendments expand the Constitutional rights of the American people because people needed more rights.

3.)The amendments did not restrict peoples rights because the amendments gave more rights.

4.) The three amendments that I believe are the most important are the most important are amendment #1 amendment #7 and amendment #18.

Some reasons, as to why these amendments were passed, are that they gave rights to all different kinds of people living in the United States of America, and it also limited or prohibited certain things, such as alcohol. These amendments expanded the Constitutional rights of American people, by giving any U.S citizens, even slaves and women the right to vote and participate in the government of the United States. One amendment (14th) also gave former slaves automatic U.S citizenship and they would have the same rights and privileges as any other citizen. These amendments, also restrict people's rights,in some ways, such as having the black population pay a poll tax to participate in voting, and the 21st amendment also prohibited alcohol consumption. I believe that the 13th, 19th, and the 21st amendment are the most important amendments.

1. I think the amendments were passed for many reasons. Some reasons are: to protect the people, give the people fair rights and limit their freedom.
2. These amendments expand the Constitutional Rights because it gives them freedom.
3. These amendments restrict people because it limits their freedom to what they can do and can't do on some certain things.
4. I really can’t choose which amendments are the most important because I believe they're all important or else they wouldn't be on the constitution.

There are many reasons to why these amendments were past. One of the many reasons why I think that they were past was because the amendments were all about giving freedom to people. One way these amendments expand the Constitutional Rights of the American people is by giving them the privilege to do those things that is stated in the amendments. There are many ways on how the amendments restrict people’s rights. One way is that although you have the rights that are stated in the amendments they have limits. For example, in the sixteenth amendment it says that you have to pay taxes. Therefore although you get your paycheck you still get money taken away. One of the most important amendments that are stated on the United States Constitution is the fifteenth amendment. The fifteenth amendment states that citizens of the United States have the rights to vote disregarding race, color and previous condition of servitude. This is important because it gave the right for all people of the United States the choice to vote or not. Another important amendment that is part of the U.S. Constitution is the fourteenth amendment. The fourteenth amendment states that anyone born in the U.S. is automatically a United States citizen. There are many other important amendments in the constitution. With out them, we wouldn’t get the rights and the freedom we have now.

These amendments were passed to help us some of the amendments were passed like the how long a president can serve. Like womens rights as will.
This expands because it helps us with are lives and that ir helps keep order.
It restricts ther peoples right because we have rules that keep us in order so there are no problems.
The 3 amendments i picked were the 13th 15th and the 22nd. The 13th is to banned all savery and i thought that was thr right thing to do. The 15th amendment is to give all u.s. citizens the right to vote no matter what race or color you are. The 22nd i picked was to limit the trems of the presidents trems to 10 years max. So they all have a turn and that for people who vote the person they want to be in office will get in.

1)The reason for the amendments being passed is that the Constitution is a flexible document and allows things to change such as rights people want or a hole in the Constitution and the amendments make it so still keeping the power equal.
2)The amendments expand the Constitutional rights of people by adjusting things people think aren't done right. The amendments let the people's voice be heard.
3)I don't the amendments restrict our rights because they allow our voice to be heard and the amendments are ideas brought up by the people and we want the best so we wouldn't want something to restrict our rights.
4)I think the 1st,13th,25th amendments are the most important because the 1st aloows us freedoms that let us express ourselves such as speech, writing, and religion. The 13th amendment abolished slavery and that maakes our country a better place to live. The 25th amendment allows the vice president to become President in case of vacancy and that gives us a backup plan.

1.Reasons that might explain why these amendments were passed are that these amendments are important to the U.S citizen’s freedom.
2.These amendments expand the Constitutional Rights of the American people because it is added to the US Constitution and it expands Americans rights.
3.These amendments restrict people’s rights because it stopped people from doing what they wanted to before the amendments were added.
4.The three amendments do you believe are the most important is the 13- because it ended slavery, the 19 because is gave women the right to vote, and the 24 beause it ended poll taxes.

What reasons might explain why these amendments were passed?
Reasons that might explain why these amendments were passed are because people should have certain rules to abide by. These amendments are fair and tells people in what order to commit into. Without these amendments, things would get a bit out of control. Its like having no laws or rules.

How do these amendments expand the Constitutional Rights of the American people? These amendments expand the Constitutional rights of the people by explaining and telling them what they can or can't do. It is putting away from right and wrong, and is making amendments that are fair for the U.S. citizens. Amendments that can't get them hurt, but can keep them safe.

In what ways do these amendments RESTRICT people's rights? These amendments do restrict peoples rights in some ways. Its telling people what they CAN and CAN'T do. It might be keeping them safe, but it should be the peoples choice of what to do. This is violating freedom of expression, or just freedom, period.

Which THREE amendments do you believe are the MOST important?
13th Section 1.- Slavery is unlawful and not necessary. People should not be forced to be slaves, and there shouldn't be slaves in the U.S. at all. People have rights, and these rights protect the people. Just because of your race, eithnicity or way of living, you can't be treated like garbage because of the fact that other people want it that way.

4th- People have the rights of 'property'. No body can just barge right in to there house and search it. You would have to have a warrent and a good reason. Having no reason to unexpectingly cause riot in your house is and should be a crime.

15th- Anybody, and I mean anybody over the age of 18 should be able to vote. Just because of your color or race, shouldn't make you any different from anybody else. No matter what you look like, your still a person, and you still should have as many rights as anybody else has.

The amendments that were past after the Bill of Rights helped to suit the Constitution to the changing times. They fixed parts of the government that needed to be changed, and added things that had not been previously discussed. In doing this, the amendments restricted the rights of the people in some ways, while increasing their power in government in others. I believe the most important of these reparations(including the bill of rights) are the 1st, 13th, and 14th amendments. These guaranteed freedoms of expression, abolished slavery, and defined citizenship. It is on the principles under which some of these amendments were ratified that our country thrives today: freedom and liberty.

A reason why these amendments were passed is so people know exactly how to behave appropriately so there is no reason for agruments or punishment. These amendments expand the constitutional rights of the american people by stating exactly what is exspected of the people so prevent chaos and confusion. These amendments restrict people rights by stating what it is you are allowed and not allowed to do. I think all of the twenty-seven amendments are important to the constitution. Especially amendment number 22. I feel that amendment 22 is important because without it there would be no limit on how long a president can serve in office and if this happens it would be as if we had a king not a president and this may result in dictatorship. Another amendment i feel that is important is amendment 13. I feel this is important because without this amendment African Americans would be getting treated unfairly and everyone deserves to be treated fairly not based on your race, color, or background. The last amendment that i think is important is amendment 25. I think amendment 25 is important because if the president is dies, ill, or is unable to fulfill his job in office the vice president will fill in for him for the time being. That is important because there will be no questioning or arguments over who should replace the president place.

The reason why these amendments were passed was to make life better. These amendments expand the rights of the American people making them feel more secure and protected. One way of the rights being restricted would be having the people under the age of 18 not vote or participate in the government. I think that the 1st, 2nd, and the 3rd are the most important.

- The amendments were passed to keep order, protection, and give rights to the citizens. A peacful civilization relies on a leader and a system or rules/regulations.

- They explain what they can and cannot do. The amendments proved the punishments and penalties for unconstitutional actions.

- In the way that restricts people from doing certain things.

- (1)Freedom of religion, speech, press, petition, and assembly.
(13)Abolition of slavery.
(26)Voting age lowered to 18.

1)The reason for the amendments being passed I think is because that the Constitution is known as a flexible document and it allows things to change like rights for people want or for a hole that is in the Constitution and the amendments make it to have equal power.
2)The amendments are able to expand the Constitutional Rights for people by the adjustments things that people think weren't done the right way. The amendments are able to let people's voices to be heard.
3)I don't feel that the amendments restrict our rights really because they gives the right to let our voice to be heard and the amendments are our ideas that are brought up by the people and we all want the best so we wouldn't want something to restrict our rights.
4)I think the 1st,13th,25th amendments are the most important because the 1st allows us freedom that is able to let us express ourselves such as Freedom of speech, writing, and religion. As for the 13th amendment abolished slavery and that makes our country a better place to live. The 25th amendment is able to allow our vice president to become President in case of vacancy and that gives us a backup plan. These are pretty important amendments I would say.
