the us constitution has been refered to as a "living document" the reason why the us constitution has been refered to as a "living documnet" is because it can be amended. the constitution is very strong and effective but flexible enough to be amended. this means the constitution is strong and works very well, but if there has to be any changes; those changes can be added if approved.
I think that the Constitution is called a living document, because it has been continually revised during its use, over the years that it has been created. An example of why the Constitution is called a living document, is the Amendment process. To this day, Amendments are still being created and fixed, and everyone in the United States follows the rules of these Amendments. A living document can also mean, that the people are living with the document, as long as it is being followed. The Constitution can be reffered to as a teachers contract also. The teacher has to abide the rules stated in the contract, and the Constitution is quite similar, because everyone accepts the things stated in it.

Acoording to the website that you gave us, the constitution is a living document because it can be amended. That means that it can be fixed so that what ever is wrong can now be right. The constitution is so safe and flexible that it is enough to allow for freedom.
Over the years, the Constitution has been referred to as a "living document” because it can be amended which means the amendments can be added to it or changed. The constitution has only been amended 27 times.

I think the "The Life Document" is the perfect name fot the Constitution. It creates rights and boudaries for basically every life in the united states of America. For example if the death penalty were mandatory for every state this could be vetoed as a cruel or unusual punishment. Thus being uncostitutional.

the reson why the constitution is called a living document is becouse we are still using the constitution to run the country and all we are doing to it is changing it so it is caught up with the time but we still have the main things that dont change for example like that everyone has the right to have a fair trial.
the Constitution gave the people there rights and assured them that the government was not going to do anything unless the people agreed with it. the Constitution over the years has been referred as a "living document."because the United states government runs by this document .
to get to where we are with the Constitution today it took a lot of hard work many different parts just like the amendment process and how each amendment was looked over and talked about if it was rational it was ratified to make our nation better.the Constitution has grown over the years and it will keep growing this is why many people called it a livening document.

The Untied States Constitution is called a living documnet. It is called this because it changes, grows, and adapts. An example of this are the amendmaents that have been added to the constitution through the years. These amendments are made to protect the rights of the people of this nation. The constitution has grown with our nation and that makes it a living document.
The Constitution is called the living document because it can be amended. The Constitution is like a rubber band it is flexible enough to allow for freedom. The Elastic Clause Article 1, section 8, Clause 18,states that Congress can make all laws "necessary and proper" for carrying out the tasks listed in the Constitution.

This constitution describes the structure of the government and the rights of the American people. It tells the truth and nobody is denied from following the constitution. It was amended 27 times. It is called the living document because it can be changed to make it more fair , correct, and exact. This document is so strong and flexible that it ensures your safety and also your freedom. The constitution has three parts to it. The first is the preamble which describes the purpose of the document and government. Second, the seven articles which establish how the government is structured and how the constitution can be changed. Third, the amendments which is known as the bill of rights.

I think that the constitution is referred to as a living document because the text of the constition changes to fit the way of life. Over the years the constitution has changed laws and added amendments to represent our rights. It is the guide that we follow in our lives and so the constitution lives with us.

the constitution is reffered as a living document because it helps the government since 1787 and is still good today and probably even more. it helped the 3 branches split the power for no one can over rule each other. and it helped the government be strong till today. it never died and it never did anything wrong..
The United States Constitution is often considered a living document mainly due to its flexibility. The Constitution is able to change to better suit the needs of the people as the nation grows, a process that allows the government itself(including its written documentation) to grow. The Amendment process is an excellent example, as through it "amendments" may be made to include unmentioned governmental responsibility, changing or altering the rights of citizens, and defining the citizens' rights themselves. The process allows the Constitution to frame a government that better preserves and guides its people.

The Constitution is called a “living document” for several reasons. One reason is because this “living document” is frequently being improved for the democracy of the people of the nation. For example, the 13th amendment abolished slavery. This gave democracy for all men in this country. Another example is the 19th amendment. This gave democracy to the women in the United States.

It is called a "living document" because it can be changed. Just like people, we grow older and our thoughts and minds change. These documents change to meet the present cultural beliefs, practices, and knowledge of today. In other words, we can add and adjust the ammendments with the changing times.
The Constitution is a living document because of all that it stands for. The constitution is a living document because its almost like an authority figure. It is like a parent, cop, teacher, etc. because it tells us what we can and cannot do. It also says how things are ran and how they function. Also, it tells what consequences will be taken place if something would happen.

i think that the elastic clause does not give to much power to who ever is in charge. i think that elastic clause is a good system because things change over time and the government needs to adapt to the changes with the elastic clause they are able to do so. the only way that the elastic clause would be bad is if the leader who is bending the rules abused what the elastic clause gave him and not do whats best for the nation.
The Constitution is called a living document for many reasons. One of the reasons why the Constitution is called a living document is that majority of its rules and principles still apply to today. Although, a lot of things has changed varying from technology to other ways of life, the Constitution still covers most of what goes on in America. The Constitution also talks about many civil rights. I believe that freedom of speech was desired 200 years ago and it still is today. Jason K 902
the reson why somepeople would be scared about the government making claus is becouse he could be changing the laws just so it can benift for him and not anyone else.and also maybe that they could be changing it and it wount really help anybody it will be just another law that dosent help

The constitution is considered the living document because everyone who lives in the United States of America have to live by it everyday. You wont pass a day withput having to live by the rules/laws of the constitution. You can not live through out your life living in theUnited States with out learning or following the constituion. No laws or person can contridicte what is written in the consttuion.
