I chose these in this order because i beleive that the first ammendment has the most impact on my so it needs to be number one. The first amendment affects me in many ways because it has freedome of speech, religon, press, and more. So that is very important to me. The rest until my 5th choice are amendments that i know a good amount of things on. but after the 5th choice then i put the amendments that i am not sure about, or that i do not know at all. So i would have to say that my top 5 choices are the ones that do affect me. Though my first choice which is the 1st ammendment does affect me because that is what lets me have freedom..

I picked these 10 because I believe they help make America waht it is. They help give everyone thier natural rights, and are not to strong or to weak. I think that these 10 are very important, even though one of then isn't part of the 27 amendments.(Flag Burning) Who would burn a flag?...considering the American flag, if you live in America? These 10 should be the top ten and the two that are not part of the 27should be added.

I chose to put these amendments in this order because, let's say freedom, is the most important thing to me because' I didn't like how some people were treated in the past. An other example is to bear arms. I placed it on number 8 because, I find it unnecessary for normal people like us to carry a weapon. If America is save enough, people don't have to carry guns(except the ones that work in an agency).

The reason I chose to put the 10 amendments in this order because this is my thought on which ones i think are most important. I feel like the 5th Amendment is very important because it states that no citizen can be denied their rights to life, liberty, or property and as well that citizens have the rights to due process of law, grand jury, and it prohibits double jeopardy and self-incrimination. Even if someone did commit a crime of some sorts they still have their rights to be not guilty til proven guilty and to have a fair trial with people as the jury. As well i think the 1st and 8th amendment are second and third because freedom of religion, speech, press, assembly and petition are just a few of the great rights from being a citizen of the United States. In other countries people don't have this pleasure and so many people are traveling to America for the oppurtunties. As well, the government cannot hurt someone in a way of cruel and unusual punishment. In certain circumstances law enforcement might have to but otherwise the government cannot go around beating and arrest people for no apparent reason and that is a big controversial issues in other countries. The other 7 amendments I think are still very important and help keep America and the government strong, but those are my top 3 choices.

amendment 1 would be 1st because if we didnt have freedom of speach then we wouldnt be able to have what we have today. Also, we wouldnt be able to stand up for what we believe in.
amendment 4 would be next because if they didnt search and arrest people they we wouldnt be living in a safe enviornment and i wouldnt feel safe to walk around outside my house.
amendment 5 would be next so that the police would be able to keep cases and record of criminals so we the people would be safe.
amendmeant 8 would be next, this is because if someone des something wrong they would have to pay for it, it may stop them from doing something bad next time around.
amendment 10 would be next, so that people dont try to over power eachother and fight for who has better items. every one is equal.
amendment 6 would be next because it allows you to stand up for what you believe in. Also allows you to tell your side of the story and have witnesses to support you.
amendment 7 would be next because it would alow a trial to take place, non-criminal case so if the person is a criminal they wouldnt have a say.
amendment 3 would be next because for the army troops to be comfotable while war, because they werent allowed to be home.
amendment 2 would be next because in years now it isnt dangerous that people have to walk around with weaponds.

I put the Amendments in this order because the most important ones have to do with what the people are allowed to do, not what the government is allowed to do to the people.
First Amendment – Establishment Clause, Free Exercise Clause; freedom of speech, of the press, and of assembly; right to petition
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Ninth Amendment – Protection of rights not specifically enumerated in the Bill of Rights.
The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
Tenth Amendment – Powers of states and people.
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.
Third Amendment – Protection from quartering of troops.
No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.
Fifth Amendment – due process, double jeopardy, self-incrimination, eminent domain.
No person shall be held to answer for any capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.
Eighth Amendment – Prohibition of excessive bail and cruel and unusual punishment.
Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.
Seventh Amendment – Civil trial by jury.
In suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.
Sixth Amendment – Trial by jury and rights of the accused; Confrontation Clause, speedy trial, public trial, right to counsel
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district where in the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defense.
Fourth Amendment – Protection from unreasonable search and seizure.
The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Second Amendment – Right to keep and bear arms.
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
I chose this order because I feel the court system amendments are the most important. Also the amendment i chose first, was the first amendment. To me our rights like , freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press helps us all change the United States in positive ways. For example due to Dr. Martin Luther Kings public speeches it helped the whole united states overcome racial issues. The last amendment i chose was 10th, i believe the right to bear arms is the least important one because there is many ways to protect yourself than carrying a gun on you at all time. I also believe that people should only be able to have a fire arm if there are or were part of the armed forces

I chose this order because the first amendment gives me the rights to do what I do every day. For example, I practice my religion on Sunday, I am able to speack freely, and I can adress a news story to the school newspaper if I wanted to. I chose the fourth amendment second because I I feel that my privacy shouldn't be invaded by strangers. I chose the third amendment third because I wouldn't want strangers coming in my house expecting me to feed them. I chose the sixth amendment fourth because I like all of the rights of the accused. I chose the fith amendment fith for the same reason why I chose the sixth amendment. I chose the seventh amendment sixth because I think that in the future, when I get into trouble, it is fair for me to have a fair trial. I chose the eighth amendment seventh because if I ever was to be proven giulty, I would at least like to get a not so harsh punishment for whatever I had done. I chose the ninth amendment eighth because I believe that we should still get all of the rights that were said to be included with our constitution, even if it isn't writen on paper. I chose the tenth amendment ninth because I think it's important for the states to have the reserved power, but it's not as important as our individual rights. Finally, I chose the second amendment last because I think that it is an inapropriate law now, this is so because people now use guns to hurt or threaten other people instead of just defending themselves.

I made minor adjusments to the amendments. I put the 8th amendment second because it lets you defend yourself under cruel terms. This is important because your able to fight someone back if you are hit first and not be liable. The rest of the order is correct for me.

I chose this is this order because i thought that the 1st amendment was the most important because it allows freedom of speech. I think the second most important one would be 5th Amendment because it protects a citizens right to life,liberty and property. The third most important one would be the 8th Amendment because this one prohibits cruel punishment. The 2nd Amendment soon follows because it gives a citizen's to bear arms. Next to that one would be the 4th Amendment because it protects citizens against "unreasonable" searches. The sixth most important one would be the 9 th Amendment because it states that more rights can be added to these rights. The next one would be the 7th Amedment which guarantees a jury in a civil case. The 6th Amendment follows and that one the rights of an accused such as a right to a speedy trial by jury, to confront accusers and be represented by a lawyer. Next the next is the 10th Amendment which reserves to the states and the people all rights not given to the federal government. The last one is the 3rd Amendment that prohibits the quartering of soldiers in ones home.
