Tonight's HW 11/29

One of the ways that our Constitution has survived for so long is its ability to be flexible. This flexibility is made possible by the amendment process, which allows the Constitution to be changed as needed.

For this assignment you need to do the following.

1.
CLICK HERE. Read the information on the process of Amending the Constitution.

2. Think of an amendment you'd like to see added to the US Constitution. In a post of no more than 100 words (but at least 50), explain:

a) What your proposed amendment is about.
b) Why your amendment should be added to the Constitution.

Here's a link to a list of amendments that have been proposed in recent years.

My amendment is about the right for the child to choose what they want to be in the future and not let the parents pick what they want them to be.
My amendment should be added because I know a lot of people that are working as lawyers and they tell me that they never wante to be a lawyer they wanted to be a basketball player and other stuff and I think that, that is really not fair. And also the parents want you to be a laywer or a doctor is because they want you to be rich and have money and I think that yeah you need to be rich but I think that they want that money andthey only care about the money and not what you really want to be and thats why I think my amendment should be in the consitiution

A normal education amendment
This amendment proposes that every student is so to get the typical SS, Science, Math , and ela education without being accounted for not taking extra courses. Meaning, that gym, spanish, and electives are by choice. The student that is by law being forced to attend school has rights to their schedule and classes they choose to sit through.

My Proposed Amendment- Animal Protection

My Amendment would extend the natural rights that humans enjoy to animals. Animals are living breathing creatures, which have an unalienable right to be protected from cruelty by the hands of humans. They also have an unalienable right to live a healthy life, in a clean, safe and protected environment. They should have a right to legal representation by the government when their natural rights are abused.
